why we chose to apply a voiceover
After researching voiceovers in films, we found out that voiceover is the best and most effective option when trying to story-tell and express a narrative, also to convey the idea of a character reflecting back on his past and his feelings. Moreover we found out that a voiceover can aid continuity and that they are common among the film-noir genre
Prior - production changes
After extra discussions me and my group had, we changed certain shots and also added and taken a few out all for a better outcome. One example of this is, in the scene on the driveway, we added two extra shots to speed up the action and make the scene as tense as possible.
Also, we changed the shot where the protagonist bumps into the antagonist in the town streets, from a match on action to a 360 degree track.
The shot we took out was the close up of the protagonist snatching his keys from the table, we thought this was unnecessary and that it would disrupt the continuity we built up.

Altered schedule
We have now decided to film our opening sequence after the christmas holidays, which is when one of our group members, who is the protagonist, comes back from a holiday. We wouldnt have had enough time to film a successful and effective opening sequence in the matter of days.
